About Me
I'm an insatiably-curious brand builder, media creator, and entrepreneur. I want to make the world's growing complexity more understandable and manageable. I'm currently providing brand development, production, and digital consulting, as I bootstrap Meteoric, a data storytelling application.
I began my career establishing the strategy and creative practices at Brophy, a marketing company founded by my great-grandfather. As a branding and go-to market strategy professional, I have led the rebranding of several global firms — through research, strategy, identity redesign, and launch — as well as led enterprise website redevelopments, multi-country video projects, and employer value proposition development. My clients have ranged from Guardian Glass to White Castle, Federal-Mogul Motorparts (now Driv) to Dior.
In addition to strategic and branding experience, I am an active digital products developer, UX designer, and video editor.
I've been the chair of the EyesOn Design Awards, the preeminent automotive design awards, for the past 8 years. Since taking on the chairmanship, I have led a team that has raised over $750,000 for research aiming to restore sight to the blind. I have provided message consulting for Detroit Horse Power after-school programs and Detroit 1967: Looking Back to Move Forward, the groundbreaking community engagement project on racial tension in the metro area.
I was an Echols scholar at the University of Virginia, where I majored in history and published papers on American intelligence contracting and the evolution of late 20th century political thought.
